Not really a decent optioned c8 will be min 75k.
And dealers will not order a base model with no options for stock.

There WILL be price changes in 2021 on the Corvette. GM is a market share company. Profits are second.

This was from a Hot Rod article quoting Sam Schembari who works for Ford communications:

Since the GT350R’s release in 2015, it has stayed mostly the same. However, that will change for 2020, as Schembari stated, “The GT350R will get a product update for 2020. We’ll have a product refresh in 2020 that the GT350 [base] won’t get. Different parts for different vehicles. The GT350R will get an update for 2020; the GT350 base got it’s [update] for 2019.” So next year there will be a more venomous GT350R, however, they haven’t gone public with any specifics.

Didn’t they start production of the 2020 as the beginning of August?

I reread the "Changes" document from Ford regarding GT350, GT350R and GT500 for MY 2020. The only change that stands out is that the Ford Performance Racing School Track Attack is included as part of the 920A and 950A packages for the GT350R and GT500 and it's not included with 900A, the GT350. Other than that change, the document indicates no other changes for the GT350 and GT350R other than color choices.

The racing school is not worth $5000

I’m waiting on this news to decide if I want to order a 2020 or not.

Wonder what the hold up is with the announcement. The 500 and all of its specs are out.

What else can Ford gain by delaying this 2020 350R announcement?

Dealers have been putting on ADM. Ford figured it deserved a share of that instead of letting the dealers have it all.

You don’t need to spend $5000 to learn how to control car. You can be done for a lot less but joining BMW, Porsche and other drivers education events. I instruct for them so I know a little about it ....
