I like all types of colors depending on the setup. I would rock a set of polished/chrome pp1 wheels for something different. ;).

Black wheels are not my favorite... no contrast between tire and wheel so they don’t photograph well. I have a spare set of PP1 wheels I my spray a gunmetal or have the face cut like these... Thoughts?

I've seen that done. I expected to like it better that way but think its not quite as good. I suspect its because they appear more 2 dimensional than 3D to me now, if that makes sense. I still like them, just a little less than stock.

I agree that black looks good on some colors it’s not for me I guess black is the new Chrome. So when I bought the car for the wife she wanted black rims so we put black on. Then she decided she wanted a different car so the mustang became mine so the search for something affordable but different was on, so the irony to all this was I bought Black Chrome. They have that Chrome shine in the daylight and get darker with less light. Sorry I don’t take the greatest pics. I think my biggest issue with black is it’s on every vehicle out there (so it seems) I just wanted something different.

Ace Alloy Aff005 i am looking at those right now! what size do you have, i was planning on 275/40/19's on 19x9.5 in wheels, and what offset did you go with? i was gonna go all square, but am unsure of the offset right now.

These are the 002’s, but 19x10 35 offset, lowered and no issues.

I am 68 and just purchased a white 2016 GT PP with black wheels and think they look awesome! Also had black wheels on my 16 Shark Gray Stingray with red brake calipers and thought that looked pretty good too !

56 and 'liked' them. I love them now that I changed my brake pads (thanks to this forum) and they don't get dirty after one drive :-) They are the perfect compliment to my color, and look even better now that I got my windows blacked out!

Are you a granny grabber?

How cares what seniors like, or juniors, or any other group that, face it, is probably mostly car idiots? Buy what YOU like and don't worry about if the popular kids think it is cool.

Yes if you put 24" wheels on your car I am going to think your an idiot. But I already think you're an idiot, so it doesn't really matter. ;-)
This thread has nothing to do with being "worried" about anything or what might influence a buying decision. Since joining this forum I noticed quite a few negative posts about black wheels appearing to come predominantly from older members (as well as disparaging remarks about chrome wheels from younger members). I thought it would be interesting to see how prevalent those sentiments about black wheels actually are among the older guys. I've enjoyed the ideas and opinions expressed, something one would expect in an internet forum.

I don't think I, or any older gentleman posting in this thread, can qualify as a granny grabber. It seems like a rather "idiotic" question. :-)

I've really liked Orange Fury ever since it came out. I know I would get more "old guy crisis trying to be young again" reactions with a color like that. Bravo to you for getting what you like. Looks great!

I'm going to rock a set of these on my CompOrange 15 GT hopefully soon with either a 305 or 315 in the back. Niche Vice in a 20x9 and 20x10.5. The factory foundry's are nice, but I'm getting tired of them.

I'm 65, back in 2001 I had a white Mustang GT with the gray Bullitt style wheels... I eventually went to the black version of he same wheel...looked much better...
Recently I had a 2015 Ingot silver GT/PP with the black performance pack wheels...eventually they grew on me....now the black wheels on my white GT350 seem normal, but I don't really like the look of a black car with black wheels...go figure

55 here. Depends on the color scheme. I recently bought a 2019 Mustang in Orange Fury. That color needs a lot of black to offset it. Love the black wheels in this.

Not a fan of the black wheel trend, but I do like my graphite ones.
