I have a 2015 GT premium with the 50 year package that does not have a PP installed. It has the 255/40 ZR19 Pirelli's from the factory installed. I am not a fan of this tire as it really doesn't stick well at speed in rain, which is all we seem to get these days here in sunny Florida. I will be going with the Michelin Pilot Sport tires. While the rims are ok, I'm not really crazy about them either so I want to get new rims and tires. The question is what is the max size rim and tire combination I can install on the car without worrying about rubbing in tight turns or having the tire stick out beyond the body lines so it looks factory ? I believe the rims on the car now are 9.5" wide. I would prefer to stay with the 19" size so I don't need to recalibrate the speedometer. Plus to me, the 20's just look like too much tire for the car; a matter of preference only. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Pages and pages on this. 19x10 35-40et with a 275/40 or 285/35 tire all 4 corners or 19x11 50et with a 305/35 rear if you don’t care about rotating tires.
^this.

19x10” ET35-40 with a 275/40R19 or a 285/35R19 is a really easy and common square rotatable setup. If you want wider rear tires for some reason, the most common setup is to fit a 19x11” ET50-52 with a 305/30R19 tire.

You can go wider with the rear tire on an 11” or 11.5” rim, but its a waste of money unless you /must/ have that look, and you can carefully go wider on the front up to a 10.5” wheel but it gets pretty tricky and not much benefit. Some of us run 19x11” square setups, but it takes extended studs and spacers to do it right.
