New car weekend - 2019 White with blue stripes

It was a rough and tumble process working with dealers here in California; however, I finally found one that was reasonable. The experience with Fremont Ford was great. Straight shooters.

The car is loaded with the electronics package, handling package etc. First impression of the car is overwhelmingly positive. The motor sounds fantastic, and the handling and steering are crisp. Looking forward to pushing it once I have broken it in.

back in 2017 when I got my 350 I also test drove an M2 'just to see' , coming from a 2011 5.0 it was tough without that smooth torque...

O and the M2 didn't have carplay ... that was literally the last deciding point that made me leave the BMW dealer lol

Congrats! I had the color combo in my search list. I have always thought white with blue stripes was the most iconic Shelby color combo. But every color offered on this car works....especially when the engine is running. Enjoy the Voodoo spell.

If you live nearby and want to get your resonators removed, I know a shop that's done mine and a few others around here. Then the real party begins(backfire city).

I also looked at the M2 back in 2016, but it was the GT350 for me and I've never looked back. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine!

Cruised down to Half Moon Bay again today. Loving the engine sounds.

Prior to my M2, I had a Porsche 981S (Boxster S). It had the naturally aspirated flat 6 and wailed like a Banshee. While the GT 350 is obviously a different car than the Porsche, it is remarkably similar in the most visceral way: "driving the car is an event". Loved the M2;however, I found myself not looking for reasons to drive like when I had the Porsche. On the drive today my wife told me you are back in the game.

Added some Loyd's floor mats and have good company next to me in my building.
