Have to say RHD makes it appealing for a daily driver (I have a C7 convertible now) but the styling doesnt really do it for me, and i much prefer a manual gearbox. But price is a big factor. Will we get the base V8, or have to stump up far more for a hybrid to keep those evil CO2s under control? At £75k starting point, it would not be much more than the C7 with an auto box, and a bargain. At £100k its not going to sell too well

Is the price confirmed for RHD/UK market yet? Legitimatley this car interests me (Well more the mrs), but, if it's around the touted 75-120k marks at base spec it can go fuck itself lol

no there's no confirmation of uk pricing its just all guessing almost certainly won't be below 60k though as most typical american imports are 1:1 usd : gbp

I'd expect a 1:1 not a 1:2 like some places have touted lol. Guess we're waiting!

With Vettes it's always worth waiting until the 2nd year and generally worth waiting until the 4th year. e.g. C5 came out as a '98 and the '01 models had lots of improvements, C6 had 4-speed auto and weak diff as an '05, proper auto as an '06 and major improvements as an '08. C7 I haven't followed as closely, but I think the '14 models had a non-GM 8-speed auto (and in UK was manual-only that year) which was replaced by the GM unit from '15.

Leave it a year and the major bugs will be ironed out.

Ah so it is! My cousin in the states paid 75000 dollars for a brand new z06 c7. He cant believe these are 125000 here

List price over here is a bad start, and then the dealers don't want to discount...whereas in the states you can easily get $20k off a high spec Vette from what I'm told.
