This is probably not the right area but i was wondering what everyone was using to mount their phone in the car? Im tired it taking up a cup holder. I mostly use carplay but my phone doesnt realy fit under the stereo well.

In truth I just lay my phone down underneath the radio in that slot area. It's connected to the sync 3 so I do not need to look at it or pick it up.

I use pro clip.. not cheap but the sturdiest and best positioned mounts out there...

plus I don't like putting stuff in the vents ::shrugs::

Which ProClip do you use ? I am looking for something sturdy that does not require drilling holes in anything...

I use proclip. Very nice sturdy mount with no drilling or tape. Only downside is the location. It will either block the oil temp or oil pressure gauges or one of the vents. I have it situated to the right of the oil pressure gauge where it partially blocks the vent. It is a little bit of a reach where it sits. On the bright side, the cool air from the vent keeps the phone nice and cool even on a hot day.

I stick my phone between the E-brake handle and the console just like I did in my 2014.

Didn't want to use suction cup mounts on the dash or window. Vent clips don't work with our vents. Also didn't want to glue anything to the inside of my car. Definitely didn't want to pay $80+ for a phone mount(proclips).

I ended up going with this low profile clamshell type phone holder that's in the middle of my dash near the base of my windshield.

https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Turbu...gen+car+mount&qid=1564670420&s=gateway&sr=8-8

Been using it for over 2 years with my Note8/9, still works great and it's stealthy. The one I linked is the updated version of mine.

I made this out of hockey pucks and ebay ram type mounts all screwed together with deck screws. I didn’t want to make it permanant and have it hold my iphone 10 xl with otter box.

I haven't set anything up in my Mustang yet, but I've been using https://www.proclipusa.com/ for most of the last decade for a variety of vehicles. Great build quality, easy to install.

I like how their systems are made in two parts -- first you pick the vehicle, then you pick the phone, and they have a universal mounting piece that links the two. It allows them to ensure that your phone mount fits your phone and the car mount fits your car, multiplied by the endless number of phones and cars out there.

I am digging on the Kuda. No permanent alteration, yet looks factory. The Kuda is the base trim, then you can screw your mount base plate into it.

Kuda 095995 Leather Mount Black Compatible with Ford Mustang (Since 2015) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CXRHTBN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3MLjEb5J0ZY09

I noticed the German complaint on Amazon. On the 2019, you may have to narrow one of the tin metal tabs with some tin snips or a dremel. I did...took about 30 seconds.

I use an ipow - amazon

It’s nice cause it doesn’t need to stick to anything and I don’t have to put anything on my phone. It actually holds pretty well too. I’ve done some hard braking here and there just to test it ha.

Oh and it’s only $12
