I have the cat delete pipe and active exhaust. It was loud and raspy.

I installed a magnaflow tru x from cjpp and it stopped the rasp and reduced the sound level to something I can live with.

(I’m a stock is loud enough guy)

UPDATE: You guys have asked and we have listened, As of Today 7/29/2019 all MAK Offroad Pipes will be shipping with a Driver Side OEM Style Flange Gasket. We get a ton of calls about the high temp silicone we provide, although we have had great success with it, we are always striving to make our product better, this will not make install a bit quicker, but will provide a worry free seal. We won't lie, making a gasket our of silicone is an ART. The best part is we are NOT changing the price of the Pipes. Although this comes at a larger expense on our end, retail pricing will remain untouched.

If you guys have any questions please feel free to PM me.

Has anyone paired these cat deletes with the magnaflow tru x? im about to install the MAK cat deletes with the magnaflow tru x but dont want the resonators to take away all of the volume gained with doing cat deletes.

the magnaflow tru x stops the rasp, they would kill the volume

So by installing the magnaflow tru x its going to take away the rasp, but significantly lower the volume on the car? Will it end up still being louder than before I take the cats off?

Using a Magnaflow Tru-X with cat deletes is still going to be louder than if you had left the cats in place and used an x-pipe! Removing the cats makes the car significantly louder.
