About ready to finish up my Whipple and Fore system install. Needing some ideas of where to mount the FC3. I have seen where its mounted in the spare tire well and under the back seat cushion area. Pics would be great, TIA.

I have a question not related to the location but the install. Did you guys splice the trigger wire (yellow in above pic) to the yellow gray wire that's on the fpdm harness connector or the yellow gray wire that's on the connector that goes to the fuel pump? Also, I used the ground thats right on the right side of the fpdm. Is that ok?

Reason im asking is bc ever since my install it seems like something changed with the way the car starts. I now have to ....
1-sit in car
2-push start/stop button (car on - engine off)
3-press brake
4-push start/stop button (car off - with foot still on brake)
5-press in clutch ( while foot is still on brake)
6-push start/stop
7-Car starts

Before this the usual way to start the car was, sit in, clutch down, push to start and boom..cars on.
Im guessing maybe if i change the location of the yellow/gray wire to the fuel pump connector instead of at the fpdm harness that itll help me start the car normally. Does anyone think I should change my ground location? I used the ground right to the right of the fpdm. I figured maybe that was causing this?

You're not getting the fuel pump prime. Move the trigger wire and it will start better. It primes when you open the door anticipating starting. Ground is fine or else it wouldn't work at all.

Change the trigger wire like I have played out and you should have no issue and can't think of any reason why it would hurst anything the way you've had it beside the starting problem.

I would mount it where it is easy to access if you have issues. they have been known to have problems with wires coming loose.

Put ferrule crimps on the ends and they don't even think about coming loose.

Mines FC2 but doesn’t matter if just looking for mounting spots.

I cut the connector off to the stock fuel pump for the trigger wire which is attached to the yellow/gray wire. The two thinner gauge wires are for the float pump reading (can be connected either way). The thicker white/black wire is ground which I didn’t use; used wheel well ground point instead.
