I'm guessing that the k-member mounting point is located differently for GT and EcoBoost. So even if the motor mounts bolt up the same way to the k-member, they are probably not placed correctly for the motor.Does anyone have pictures of how the Ecoboost is mounted? I would like to believe you just need different engine mount brackets
Actually, that doesn't look too dissimilar, just a different engine mount footprint that looks like it is higher than the GT version. I bet an adapter could be fabricated to bolt to the Steeda K-Member engine mount plates that provides the required height and plate footprint for the EcoBoost mounts. Thanks for providing the pic. I was going to get under my car and do some measuring from the K-Member mounting points to the engine mount points to get the xyz offsets, then do the same on a buddy's GT. The pics make it look very doable. I wonder when the Road Race version will become available? I still haven't seen a tentative date. I also haven't seen an answer to whether the underbody panels like the engine splash shield will be retained in this version. Hopefully Steeda will answer that question soon.Wow, that frame is completely different. That would take some homework.
Thanks for the honest review SolarFlare!Very happy. Thank you for making a great affordable kmember a lot of people had been waiting for.
