What did I win??? Seriously, great to know that was culprit. I am considering changing over to the 2017 and up design for the oil filter just because. Not exactly the same issue but I had a filter back off after my first oil change and scared the crap out of me! I know there are fixes with wire and such but I'd rather just switch over to the new style and be done with it. Get it back on the road FLATPLANE and enjoy!

@FLATPLANE curious when your road racing what do your oil Temps get to? Just doing some runs today and my oil Temps getting over 250F.

Thinking I may need an oil cooler.

Oil Temps were 250-270 after a 20 min session. It was a cooler day last week 88 degrees and we had some rain so that effected the temps quite a bit.
Also sent my harness in Sat. paid 15$ shipping. Could care less that AFD didnt pay for it, Just want this all to work would be compensation enough. LOL On the bright side I am getting real good at installing this kit. Might ask a few local GT350 guys if they want me to install it for them make some $$

as for me, my harness arrives today and first thing i'm gonna see is if the new harness powers up my BT and app with engine running.

of course the way USPS does routes in my area, i am the 2nd to LAST delivery each day, so i get my mail around 5pm PST Used to it now though.

okay guys I guess I'm the first with the new harness. arrived about an hour ago and I just put it in. I have a 2018 MY and the harness seems to be working at least in terms of the app with engine running, it's showing my ethanol content finally. so the power issue seems to be resolved which I hope will mean that drivability is fixed as well. at least that's my hope.

I'm really bummed I've got a 3/4 full tank of 91 octane. ethanol is at 14%. so I can't really get up to 70 or 80% ethanol until I drive this thing a bit. but again the new harness is powering up well.

it's a good start at least...
