I just ordered from Team Beefcake. I am doing the install myself. They charge 1200 which is very reasonable but getting there, etc, is just too much stuff. Looking forward to the install as I'm retired and have the time to do it correctly. I also spoke with the fellow from RDP and he was very helpful as well. Had to decide. Both seemed very helpful and decent.

I have a 2019 lfp 800 with a 6 speed manual. I've put just over 3500 miles on it in the 2 months ive owned it. It was supercharged at 1100 miles with a whipple stage 1. And it is one of the most fun cars ive ever owned, I opted for the oil pump gears and crankshaft sprocket at the same time as the super charger install since it saved me a ton of money on labor and makes high rpm shifts much less worrysome. I also went with some better rubber and wider wheels which helped immensely. You definitely can't go wrong with the whipple system. View attachment 380803

The nice thing about the whipple tune is that it is 50 state legal. I did the gears on my '15 that I had issues with, not the gears. My '11 had a Roush making 588 rwhp and I put about 25K miles on it before I sold it. Ran it to 7200 RPM hundreds of time and drag raced it quite a bit. Never did gears on that car as back then no one talked about gears only "cylinder 8 cooling issues". Never had that problem either. Put the SC on it at 20K miles and no issues. I believe tuning is a big part of the issue somehow. Hard to believe that gears on some 900 rwhp cars are fine and others with just a tune let go as though there is such a variance in the quality of the part.

That said, hope I don't have issues. : )

I just got done reading the 63 page PDF on the Whipple install and I've decided to have Terry and his guys install the Whipple. Wimping out and for $1,200 that is a very fair price...

It’s an easy install but $1200 is a great price.

And because you’re going stage one and having it installed you can get the optional warranty for anybody who’s buying a stage one versus stage two I don’t see why they wouldn’t go with the warranty

After looking at the long drive to Cincinnati to Beefcake and then back I've decided to install Terry will be shipping the Whipple to my home. If it were closer I would certainly have them do it. As requested, I'll post some photos of the install. Won't be here for a couple weeks yet. Hopefully installed when I go to Mustang Memories in later August.

If you’re installing and not getting the warranty I hope you got the stage 2

Stage 1 is good. My goal is a bit more torque and hp. 600 rwhp. My 11 made that and it was enough for me.
