Could be. Depends on how you drive. Lots of short drives and other things can reduce life a lot. Time counts too.I just got the "Change oil soon" warning at 1,800 miles? Normal?
I wonder if the car sat for a good while on the lot because I think the OLM has a time limit likely a year mind you. Mine has about 1700 miles on the factory fill and shows about 80% remaining. And it is not babied lolIt hasn't been changed yet. I was going to do it soon, just surprised to see the factory fill last 1,800 miles.
Which is better for the oil life, actually. Short trips that prevent the oil from heating up and burning off any moisture or contaminants is what prompts more frequent oil changes. A daily driver with a 45 minute commute will have its internals in much better shape than a car that has a 5 minute commute.I wonder if the car sat for a good while on the lot because I think the OLM has a time limit likely a year mind you. What brand and weight oil did you use?Well, changed the oil yesterday, and happy to report still no tick! It seems many develop the tick after the first change.
Not out of the woods yet...Well, changed the oil yesterday, and happy to report still no tick! It seems many develop the tick after the first change.
what makes the rattle? The tick isn't even considered harmful. All the main issues with the 2018/2019 were associated with the rattle. No reason to lose sleep over it.
