I took it for a road trip when I first mounted it up and I never noticed it was there because it tucks in so close to the seat.

For you guys mounting it below the driver's seat like that, does it ever touch or rub your leg if you're shifting around? Looking to fit a 2lb bottle to meet some safety requirements.

These are all for 2.5lb bottles.
I did the same research, I know NASA TT rules require a 1kg (2.5lb) bottle within driver's reach

It’s real secure, no issues.

When you drilled the new holes in the BK bracket, were you able to use a regular hand-held drill and bits? Or did you need a drill press? I'm trying to figured out if I can drill the holes at home or if I need to bring the bracket to work with me

I used a hand drill. The plate is thicker than I was expecting but it was not very difficult, especially if you have a center punch.

Ah gotcha.. yeah I was skimming some rule books for random events and saw minimium 2lb bottle on some... but of course it'll be better to get one that meets many more sanctions.
