Hi Richard!

I realise that Brexit is taking a long time to happen:giggle:

It could be very likely that (despite what the current UK govt say about emissions etc) -

  • We will no longer be governed by EU laws
  • We may have a US trade agreement in place
  • Ford may not see the UK as "EU fleet"
(a lot of "mays" there- I thought we'd seen the back of May!):cwl:

If Ford cease to import the RHD V8 to the UK - will they also cease import the V8 to all other RHD countries? (Australasia) - ?
Will it be viable to make a RHD V8 anymore?

just a few thoughts and questions ....
Well I was told that it will apply to the UK as well regardless of Brexit as the country will still have a plan to reduce it's carbon footprint so continue to follow the EU set targets. The UK plan already announced to move to all electric can't remember the date from (not as green as you think when you see how they rape the planet with drift mines to get the rare earth metals for the batteries hey but who gives a shit that's miles away in China). And to be honest the energy has to come from somewhere it's not all renewable. Running a electric car still causes smoke to rise out of Ferrybridge and Drax. Don't get me started hehe :)

The V8's days are numbered even in the US in California anyway please Get this thread back on track.....
