The reason why they really emphasize zero or extremely little 93 being in the tank before logging the E85 tune is that it will throw off the short term fuel trims causing the logs to not be accurate compared to if you just had straight E85. As little as a few percent off and the stft will not be accurate, so even if you still only have one gallon of 93 I’m the tank and add 9 gallons of E85 the stft will be noticeably off and they can’t properly tune around that because that’s not an accurate representation of when you’d actually be on straight e85

The tune is a dedicated e85 tune. As per Lund, im suppose to....

1- disconnect the fuel line (not sure from where?....also pretty sure it dosnt matter lol)
2-place the line into an empty jug/cannister
3-flash the drain tune ( im guessing it runs the pumps)
4- Turn car on ( do not start engine)
5-The remaining fuel should be draining into the the empty jug.
6-once its done, flash e85 tune
7-fill up tank with e85

I was told to test the e85. Let my tuner know if its less then 75%.
lol something i've also never done before.

First time doing all of this so just wanted to see if others had any advice/pointers etc...

Lund gives you specific instructions which are pretty clear. Smh

My bad i should've been more specific. I meant swapping fuels after the tuning was already done. Would something weird happen if I have a little e85 left and then added a tank of 93, then flashed the 93 tune. It was answered above. Thanks again Jay-rod

ebay, amazon just search "drill pump" if you are in a hurry most HW stores have them too... I would get a spare one if you need to count on it... they don't last long. maybe flushing it our with water can help them last longer. However, for ten bucks I don't even worry about it and just keep a spare one on hand...
