If you’re interested into cutting 7.4 LBS off your 350R try installing these. Hopefully they’ll finish by Tuesday before my car arrive’s in 9 days! Cough cough
I'd be interested to see how that holds up to 175 MPH. Let us know when you get the chance.

Piece of cake!
Found a wrecked gt (red) color matched the grabber and painted the anderson exposed carbon fiber wing black. The body shop who did the work said the metal is so thin on these lids welding the holes in where the 350 mounting holes are can be a real pain the ass!
The best way to do it..... and it shows

How much different is this Anderson one to the real R wing?

Meh, depends on how picky you are. If you park it beside a stock one, you can tell the shape is off ever so. I've done quite a bit of homework since I want to swap also. From what I've found, the Anderson is not an exact match. I don't know if eyeball'd is the best term, but it is not an exact replica. I've heard you can see the Anderson dancing around going down the road, but only read that once. The Anderson also doesn't have the same bolt pattern as the stock wing, but if you're making a swap, that's probably pretty insignificant. But it does appear their carbon and construction is pretty legit. SpeedKore is the best option out right now for an exact shape match.

I've seen them up close but really didn't pay a lot of attention but it did look great
The have a new R spoiler coming and it will be molded off a OEM Factory part

Hi Everyone,

I recently saw a GT350 with an Anderson Composites carbon wing. I absolutely loved it, and thought it would be fun to do the same install.

The issue is that the factory wing is mounted by 4 holes, and the R wing would leave the center holes exposed. How do you deal with these center holes?

Is this an easy fix with some bonding paste at a shop, or would they need to do more extensive work?

The only other options i’ve seen are new trunks, but obviously that’s not ideal.

Thanks for your help!
Why not add a Anderson Carbon deck lid to go with the spoiler, problem solved!

I inquired a while back. This is directly from Anderson...

"We have that statement on our website as some people want to mount very large road race style wings on their Mustangs, those type of wings require extra support, braces, etc. You can mount the GT350 wing on our trunk, we suggest using larger washers on the underside to spread the load. "

I'm using my OEM R spoiler, yes I could see where you wouldn't want to mount a road race spoiler on it

Is the correct part number for the factory trunk lid FR3Z6401110A❓ Don’t want to order the wrong one. I assume it doesn’t have pre drilled holes for wing. Going to do either the Anderson or Speedkore R style.

Interesting enough, was just snooping around Anderson’s site and when you filter for our car, no R wing shows up. It only shows up under the GT search. My assumption would be because it is not an exact match.

Didn't "Mach4.6" said earlier in this tread that a replica from the OEM R wing was in the make by Andersen ? Anybody knows when it will be available ?
