very nice! love that black procharger look. so you're right around 640 whp? did you do the oil pump and crank sprocket gears?

again looks great. congrats.
Yes 641 whp. I did not do opg/csg, from what I’ve read it wasn’t conclusive that it was needed. My tuner did lower my rev limit to 8100 from the factory 8300.

I wonder if someone will make a 2650 setup that will allow the gt500 strut tower bracing to fit

Figure I will add my 2 cents. I went Procharger stage 2 tuner kit P1-X . ID1050x, dual VMP BAP. Other than that car is 100% stock, on 6 psi and custom tune courtesy of Tuned by Norm, I picked up exactly 200 hp. Made the car exactly what I wanted. This was done on a “Mustang Dyno” in south Louisiana summer day at about 96 degrees.

Oh man that beautiful. Also the Procharger allows you to keep the strut bar. Also its works well because of our high rev engine, that puppy will just keep going to redline. The tq curve is nice. grats !

I did a little look at the procharger....black is what I would do as well. If you do not mind, can you PM me on the particulars of this setup ? Cost, what you have, drive, ect ect

Solid numbers and great looking engine bay, great choice on going all black with the kit :like: ...all this car needed was a little bit more punch to match the looks and you got it, congrats!

I will ask you to reconsider the OPG and CS, as there are more than enough occurrences to prove that is a direct fail point on these motors. Good luck, and enjoy!

Hi

I have a Whipple on my GT350. Just wondering what others are seeing for IAT's After the blower (IAT2)?

Thanks

Jack
Hey Jack, I'll take a peek at mine today and let you know.

Oh man, good luck with that, I just cant see how unless you have an aftermarket cowl hood. I'll be immediately grabbing the GT500 strut bar when they become available to get one back on mine. Will be a tight squeeze but it should fit :fingerscrossed:

No it looks to be the same as the 350, but if you're talking the VMP kit....then the intake and throttle body position would make it very difficult to add a strut bar.

So the whipple setup would work a little better ?

I really feel like the PD superchargers fit the HP goal of the stock engine pretty well but i'd like to have that strut bar incase i decide to head up to VIR or down to Charlotte Motor Speedway for a track event.

For adding a strut bar....yes. Some have made the factory strut bar work with some trimming and supposedly lowering the engine a tad bit more. The Whipple kit comes with BMR engines mounts that lower it just a hair, so somehow they use the existing BMR mounts to get more clearance. I plan to leave it how it is and purchase the GT500 strut bar

Cool I would love to see a picture when you get it done. I wonder if the gt500 brace can dodge the gen5 with the top located intercooler

I dunno, maybe. It looks like the same height from pictures, but its so wide compared to the previous gen models....might take more of an effort. I personally would have went with the Gen 5 if I knew it was getting released a couple months after the Gen 4 :explode:

I scooped a new Griptec Whipple pulley and a Gates HD Green belt this week. I may be getting belt slip, not too sure to be honest....so I figured id grab some insurance and just cover my bases. I'll install Thur and take her out to see how she feels, I'll let you guys know if improvements are made on the butt dyno :fingerscrossed:
