Might be too soon, but any 2019 GT350's encounter any issues?

Ive seen two issues on mine, and both are/were really minor.

The 1st one was a problem that has been documented on several sites having to do with Sync always prompting you that it needs a network connection. Every time you started the vehicle this happened, and it is/was really annoying. I downloaded the latest Sync firmware onto a USB flash drive, which went from version 18201, to version 19052, and I haven't seen the issue since.

My wife’s Nautilus did the same thing. The dealer said to turn off the automatic updates (like someone else noted) as its looking to update the system every time you start the car. They said that Sync is only updated every 6 months or so. Turn it back on once in a while when you know you have a good WiFi connection.

No issues so far! Just had it's first oil break after the break in and had the adjustable strut mount installed. Still waiting on the gurney flap. Planning on ordering the x-pipe soon and gonna get the white stickers for the Shelby lettering.

No issues here as well. Only 650 miles on it, so we shall see.

I have the sync pop-up problem each time the car is started, as well. Will try the suggestions that have been provided. My black plastic gill on the left front side (where the GT350 sign is located) kept popping out. Had it replaced under warranty. I noticed rear differential oil on my garage floor one day after a drive. I took it in and after my SVT tech removed the black, plastic, cooling cover from underneath of the car, he noticed that one of the lines that goes to the differential cooler was just barely attached and was leaking. There is a bolt that holds the fluid line snug, and the bolt had about one thread holding it in place! The tech screwed the bolt back in and no more leak. That's been it. I do notice that the steering is quite heavy and resistant even in the "comfort" mode. Really heavy in sport and track. I have 700 miles on the car. I think the heavy steering feel is a result of the Michelin Cup 2 tires on this car. I'm planning to look for some " all season" radials to put on the car this fall as I drive it, weather permitting, during the colder months and the Michelins are summer only tires.

This is probably discussed in another thread, but is there hope the ‘19 GT350’s will not have oil consumption, or have less consumption, than the 16-18 models?

I'm at 900 miles with no issues other than the dealer not installing the front spoiler correctly, and they're taking care of it.

How did you notice or realize this? Just curious...I'm picking up my Ford Performance Blue GT350 tomorrow and would like to be sure my front splitter is installed properly. Beautiful RED by the way!!

Thanks! It came off and buckled under the car from the downforce while driving. In hindsight, I’d have to get under the car to make sure they used all the hardware. I want to say there are 10 screws that hold it on; they missed the front 4 that look like they go in at an angle on mine. The others that attach to the belly pan couldn’t hold it on once the down force built up.

Look for this gap between the spoiler and the front fascia molding.

Thanks for sharing JR369! I'll be looking this over very carefully before I drive off the lot!!

A local buddy had swapped his 17 out for a 19. The motor let go on the 19 around 100 miles in. Not sure what the failure was.

I, for one, sure hope so! The 2019 GT350 is sharing a block with the GT500 and I'm optimistic that they would not roll out the 500 with any block issues.

That's one of the reasons I was glad MHdude started this thread - to keep the conversation alive with new (2019) GT350 owners identifying any troubles they encounter. I'm on four GT350 forums and I have not heard any complaints of the 2019 burning oil. *fingers crossed*

I changed oil at 800 ish miles, and am close to 4k miles now w/ 9 ish hours of track time on it, pulled a sample of oil for analysis when i had 2k miles and 3 track days on the current oil, and just had to add a quart yesterday. guessing the sample was 8 ounces but not certain, and pretty sure i was catching 3-4 oz in the cans each track day, so I think all said it's very reasonable so far and the car is an absolute monster on the track! Planning on one more track day on the current oil before changing it.
