Last year I added the Raleigh splitter and then later the Crevini lower grill this year to my stock bumper .
The splitter does not come with struts and after several passes this year the lower part of the bumper started coming apart .

Replaced entire bumper with the air design and could not be happier .
It looks like they supply the steeda Q850 fascia but it’s much cheaper buying directly from them .
Shipping was quick and my trusted body shop did a great job matching the paint and installing .
Bumper was $600 shipped and another $600 to have it painted and installed .

The crevini lower grill won’t fit so I had to use the stock one .

Going to fix up the OEM bumper so I have a spare just in case .

Quick Question, Is the splitter with it separate part or actually part of the bumper meaning if you damage it, you have to repair bumper rather than just get new splitter?

I am not 100% sure as I had it shipped to my body shop and did not see it prior to paint /install.
It looks to me like it’s one piece on the car .

I saw the installation pdf which was a bit vague on what the lower part looks like, and a video of an install at air design where the top front part is one piece and the bottom piece and splitter starting under your re-used lower grill is another solid part, so it is kinda a two piece kit. Looks good, I have silver too and still will consider this kit perhaps someday.

How fast did you often go to start wearing down your original bumper from the raleigh splitter you added on to your stock bumper? I think the larger splitter on the Steeda fascia would be worse? I see that Steeda has one Q850 that actually has support rods on the airdesign fascia. Since it is a 1.25" extension over the stock splitter, it may pull much more down force?

I made five to six 138-140 mph passes with the stock bumper /Raleigh splitter .
I may have damaged it once when it bottomed out on a dip in the road .

I have been about the same number of passes at the same traps (best of 9.9@140) with the air design and it’s still solid . The lower and upper splitter are one piece versus adding the Raleigh lower to the stock .

Also the air vents are close like on the stock bumper .

I was going to have the body shop fix up my stock one and add the support rods(so I have a spare ) but I may also look into adding it to the air design .

I am thinking AD/Steeda did homework and it is more cosmetic and not giving off the downforce of a real race splitter. Cause imagine all those people who paid all that money for the Q500/Q850 and Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt having to bring car back for drooping bumpers :D (oh wait they might never see that for just making perhaps most as garage queens?)

LOL.
The ones on this forum seem to be tracking them though . I think it’s probably worth adding the supports(and I think it competes the look if that’s all you want ).
For me it was a non brained since my OEM was damaged anyway and it would have cost me much more to replace ....and I now have that as a spare .
Also just FYI for anyone else considering this, a reminder (said it before ) after market lower grill deletes may not work with the bumper . I know the crevini one won’t fit .

Yeah I plan to re-use my stock GT/CS upper/lower grill, I use the car as a DD so I do not track it, so it should be less likely to need a support rod. I like a cleaner look.
