My car's currently undergoing some extensive repair work, it looks like one of my BMR jacking rails got pretty scraped up from the wreck and has a good bit of surface rust alongside the outside corner. Insurance is paying me the replacement cost for the set but it's not really worth replacing them. Mine are the hammertone finish, however...any ideas on how to touch these up after removing the rust? I feel like spray paint isn't going to hold up to a jackstand. I'm not against coating both of them in some kind of spray on bedliner, either.

Should have gotten the red ones I guess.

Edit: Accidentally posted this in the wrong section...whoops.

truck bedliner can be applied, from a spray can and is pretty tough stuff. We used it on the rub rails of our offroad rescue vehicle and they still look good.

Any particular brand or are they all pretty much the same?
