Wow, if you were able to pull out that much meth and still keep the same timing you were definitely spraying too much. Surprised you didnt have misfires but that could definitely have hurt your power.

Could have and we will see what happens next time around. With the BAP and 72’s I needed the extra meth to keep the AFR’s in check. I’m solid now with the FORE setup.

Have you had a chance to check your catalytic converter's ? Your showing many sign's of plugged converter's and I will also agree the compression readings of 245 seem a bit much from my experience.

HI Will, thanks for chiming in. I have long tunes and no CATS, bulges you see in the mid pipes are resonators for visual effect of cats.

The compression check I conducted was with fuel pump fuse and injector pulled. Throttle was held open with foot to the floor and I let it crank for the full cycle 11 pumps I counted. I don't know why it would have read high doing it like that with engine cold.

Ahh I see, very slick :)

Is there any excess oil consumption with your engine ?

I've worked on some possible weak links, not sure they were power robing, but they were needed none the less. Looking to hit the Dyno again in August with these changes. Also went down from 20 GPH meth nozzle to 7 GPH and still have no knock and full timing 22 with 93 and 10 oz boostane in each tank.

Exhaust is now complete 3" no more 2 1/4" chock down to the Borla resonator. I know have complete 3" resonators and I cut out and welded in 3" extension on the mid pipes coming off the from the headers.

FORE L2 fuel system installed with dual pumps and 1050 ID injectors. This was overkill for sure, but I was running out of fuel at 7800 rpm with BAP and 72's.

Which resonators? Any sound clips?

Sorry no sound clips yet, I just got generic 3" resonators, don't remember the brand.

Did you ever hit the dyno again? Curious what your most recent numbers are. I went with Rob/PBD for tuning my new 11:1 aluminator, 95 lb injectors, and BAP. I make about 30-40 less hp and tq than I did with my previous modified whipple tune, but still managed to pick up a few mph in the quarter. PBD tune also drives much better at partial throttle than the Whipple tune.

I did go with a different clutch/flywheel setup, stage 3 caliber mt82, and added exhaust resonators , which all could have played some part with the numbers being lower.

With 3.625 pulley, 22.5 timing, 93 octane + 1 full bottle boostane shot, 741 whp and 554 ft lbs .

I just got it done this past week. I wanted to rule out my fuel combo as the problem, meth 7 gph 93 plus 10 oz of boostane is what I run all the time. So Wednesday I went down with a can of MS 109 to try with no meth injection this time. Numbers were finally close to what they should be for PBD cal with 22 degrees all in and 3.5" pulley making 15.4 psi. Blue line on the dyno graph was Wednesday with MS109 and it made 794 and 623 TQ. I went back Saturday after burning of the MS109 with my regular mix of meth injection and fuel as stated above and made (red) 782 and 612 TQ. I was happy with the power and likely made by removing 2 1/4" choke point in the Kooks mid pipe ends in my 3" exhaust and taking out the Borla 2.5" resonator and shaping for 3" MBRP resonators. I also did a FORE fuel system and ID 1050's for safety as the fueling was reaching it's limits with the BAP. Strange thing is that peak power was made at 7500 rpm, and I pulled both timed to 8200 rpm. My logs showed boost climbing from 14 psi to 15.5 from that range so boost was not dropping and timing was all in with no knock. This combo should have made power to 8200 rpm, so possible it could have made in the 825 hp range.

So what do you think the issue could be why no increase in powers from 7500 to 8200 yet an increase in boost? 800 wheel on real pump gas (non e85 for those of us that can’t get it) is outstanding! 93 with boostane and meth could potentially be available to the masses...

Yeah 93 and 10 oz 1/3 bottle in each tank with small shot of meth works. Not sure why is not making power past 7500, I’ll have to send logs to PBD and see that they think.

Thanks man, and I'm hoping PBD can adjust cam timing to get it tis make power to 8K. Sure is a relief to know nothing's wrong with the motor or setup.
