Didn't mean to post the same pics, oops! LOL! Still, you get the idea, before and after.

Very good. Now did you also have to buy the stock OEM PP dash from ford and was all this just plug and play once getting rid of the center vent? I have a 18 PP1. But I’m curious what kind of work went into this. I assume fairly easy.

Ok - give it up Bluestar! You and I just did the PP gauges. To add the Mycolor to the 18+ standard dash, did you just forscan? Or what? Thanks!

This thread should answer all your questions!

I ordered the vent trim and associated PP gauges from The Parts Farm in Georgia. They're a salvage yard that sells parts from wrecked Mustangs and Camaros.

Yes, Plug and Play. The hardest part was trimming the plastic with a Dremel to make room for the gauges!

In my particular situation I did NOT use forscan. I did have to send the cluster out to have the miles programmed. Ended up using "The Instrument Cluster Store" in Philadelphia. Other than said mileage programming I didn't have any error messages. Plug and play part two!

Oh - so you bought a premium non-digital gauge cluster and swapped it?

I ask because I read somewhere here - so many topics I get lost - that you MAY be able to forscan a base cluster to activate the mycolor in it. That, like the wiring for the pp gauges already in the base car, the mycolor was there just not unlocked (18-19 only).

This would just be for the gauge cluster, not the entire mycolor in the rest of the car.

Yes, I purchased a premium non digital cluster and installed it in my GT.

I started a thread about possibly unlocking MyColor on a base 2018 GT. To the best of my knowledge, the base 18 cluster does not have MyColor capabilities.

I purchased the gauge cluster from a member of the forum. Think there's another cluster for sale too...
