Who else ordered a 2019 GT350/GT350R

Good morning! My other half and I took delivery of my MY 2019 GT350 this past Friday, at Sanderson Ford in Glendale, AZ. Ordered 4/8/2019, produced May 29, 2019, Shipped by rail, and ultimately delivered to the dealership on Sunday, May 30, 2019. What a journey this has been. I know there are many who have had delay after delay, but, I have to say, once you receive your GT350 and drive it, all the waiting will be forgotten and all will have been worth the wait. This will be my daily driver and I chose to take delivery in Glendale, AZ, to be able to drive the GT350 back to CA to bed the brakes and break the engine in, along the way. She has performed flawlessly and I now have 1140 miles on the odometer. This is my keeper and I plan on driving her into my 90's. Unbelievable and all I can do is thank PP0001 for hooking me up with the dealership and letting me live my dream. Thank you Harry! 2019, GT350, Magnetic Grey, Stripe delete, CF dash trim, handling package, electronics package. She drive's like a dream!

Nodonut Congrats, I see you are in Sacramento, do you plan on going to the NorCal Shelby event in Sonoma in August? I have not attended since mid 80's but I will be going this year.

Congrats, good for you! You should play lotto and go to the nearest casino. 7 weeks from order to delivery! I think that is a record on this forum! Mine was ordered on 3/11. If all goes well, with its projected delivery of 9/1, I will be just short of 6 months. The worst part; there are people in much more rough shape than me. Good luck with the car, it is beautiful!

What a great story. You sir, are an enthusiast! Congratulations! I think good things are in store for those waiting. I just made a deal yesterday and the car showed up today in Hollister, CA. It was an April build lost in the mess. It is the exact same spec the I ordered and was "balanced out" of. Yeah, I had to pay a bit but I'm good with it. I pick her up as soon as I can get there. Yee-haw!

by the way, I also got a call from some nice gentlemen up in Walnut Creek, Ca. Jaime and Kerry. They just had an R arrive. I bet they would be reasonable if anyone else is hunting.

Congrats!!! Looks great! I'm hoping to pick mine up in AZ as well, and drive back up to CA to get the break in miles done. Unfortunately, mine is still stuck in Ford Jail at the AZ rail lot. Dealer has little to no feedback on why its stuck anymore. It was built 4/11, shipped 5/8, arrived in AZ rail yard 5/20 then stopped. :( I've since started looking around, in parallel, for other dealers that may have Rs on the lot, or in transit that are not looking for crazy markups. This forum has been a great pointer to find a few, even with similar configs to mine! Glad to hear the wait is worth it!

Beautiful car. Waaaaaay to close to that curb for comfort in the fourth picture.

I use the back up camera and position the passenger side mirror, WAY LOW, to keep an eye on the curb distance, as I back up TO the curb. Haven't touched one yet and trust me.......I'm being VERY careful about the curbs.

No. I replaced the factory shifter knob with a Ford Performance shifter knob. The black shifter knob is a tribute to my former 1966 Factory GT Fastback I used to have. I had a Hurst shifter and a black shifter knob in it and I lost the car to someone I used to call a friend. This way; my old Fastback, which my former friend wrecked and refused to sell back to me, lives on through the GT350.
