yeah I mention it in my video I'm making, you got to be careful when you open it, the styrofoam even says which side is up.

Are the stripes decals or painted? Do you think they can removed without damaging the model? No racing stripes on my Shadow Black R.

At first glance, they look painted. I can rub my finger across them and there is a slight ridge to the edge. I'm not of the mind to try and peel them back, however.

Thanks Tim. I'm going to purchase and take my chances removing the stripes. Cool looking model.

put together a 10 min video of the AutoArt 1:18 GT350R. i got mine a few days ago, pretty sweet...

Just received the blue one today. Really nice. First plastic 1/18 I have. Paint is excellent, stripes appear to be painted, but maybe coated decals. Nice detail, assembly quality better than the gaps as delivered on my real GT. The Ford logo in the windshield is blue and white. Nice, but not correct. Great overall, but a bit lighter in weight than I'm accustomed to. Not a complaint, just an observation due to the plastic body.

Received my AutoArt Mini- Me Shadow Black GT350R today. Excellent craftsmanship. I don't think I'll even attempt to remove the racing stripes. Definitely worth the money.

I got the AG in my cart, filled out my shipping info and when I got to the next screen, it said my cart was empty.... I did this twice just to make sure I wasn't messing it up...
