So, we went out again last night and drove a 2019 Ecoboost PP A10. MUCH better car. The acceleration was noticable due to the 3.55 gears as opposed to the 3.15. Only issues were, 1) it was a base. He thought it looked way too similar to my F-150, and, compared to the Camaro, wasn't optioned enough; 2) dealer bumped the price by alomst $1,800 over what it was listed for a couple of days ago.

Friday we are headed to look at a '18 Eco Prem PP A10. Hopefully, that does the trick. If not, 3 hr drive to look at a RR 101A 6spd. That boy is gonna have to make a decision. And soon.

Is the 18 eco new or used? Since he has already driven an eco PP with A10, the 18 only needs looked at, if its local. If it's not local make the dealer of your choice go get it. That's what I did for my 17 vert, it was 97 miles away. And my 18 explorer was over 200 miles away up in Sterling Hts MI and I'm just outside of Cleveland

It's a new '18. It's close enough, about 45 minutes. This one is a premium. I told him that if base was too basic, he should just go sit the ranger for 5 minutes!

If the 18 is an acceptable color just buy it already, it sounds like it has what he wants and its a leftover 18 so it will be cheaper than equally equipped 19. Tell your son to shit or get off the pot.

He needs to "shit". Him getting off the pot would be him continuing to drive my wife's jeep, while she drives the Mustang. Jell, last night she said that if she keeps driving it much longer, she's keeping it. I told her that was fine, I'll just get another one. Told her I already have it picked out!

We'll see what this weekend brings. Looks like most of the dealers have jacked the prices back up at the start of Q3. Such a pain in the ass.

Gonna have to be some sacrifices though. Next Friday is my first track night and I have to be at the track at 3:30.

Well, looks like he finally made a deal. 2019 Camaro V6 1LT 1LE. Look like he'll get it for about 7K off. We'll making the run across Missouri and just into Illinois tomorrow morning, if all goes well. I told him to tell the salesman that if they're going to fill it up, use 91 or just give him a gas card. And that they should throw in a Chevy hat, as I'll be in the Mustang and wearing wither my Ford Performance hat or Mustang hat. This dealership seems to have been pretty straight forward with him. Really don't want to make a four hour road trip and not have this happen.
