Lighter?I'm looking at challenger t/a 6 speed cars now. Cloth seats, lighter than the mustang, more comfortable, 392 cubic inches, 500/500 at the tires with a cam and headers......
50 grand.
In for a base as previously planned. This will be a car I keep long term so what’s an extra 10-15 grand over 20-30 years.
i think he means the Challenger seats are lighter than a Mustang.Lighter?
occams razor applies here but you're probably jokingi think he means the Challenger seats are lighter than a Mustang.
Yeah, I'd like to see some sources that show the Challenger T/A is __lighter__ than the Mustang. Here's one I found for the T/A:Lighter?
... but a person would when buying a 4300lb gt500...Yeah, I'd like to see some sources that show the Challenger T/A is __lighter__ than the Mustang. Here's one I found for the T/A:

Here's the summary:
4,239 lbs with some additional equipment (car tested had leather, heated, automatic seats)
I guess my $0.02, in general, when talking about a Challenger, I don't think I'd make weight one of the key purchasing factors ...
Engineer? What railroad do you work for?I’d be torn between a nice 997.2 GTS and the 500. A local place has a sweet 911 4 GTS with 6 speed for sale right now for 80k or so. I’m done with economics on this thread and will shut my trap, but as an engineer I deal with facts and trends and predictions, by analyzing past events. History does indeed repeat itself.
are you trying to be funny? I'm not an engineer (or a comedian.)Engineer? What railroad do you work for?
