So...it appears the long wait for my performance blue R is coming to an end. With that said, I'm wondering what your thoughts are on buying the extended, full-coverage warranty. 8 years @ 48k miles runs $3,300 which seems awfully high to me. Any thoughts on buying it now or waiting a few years and going from there? Also, I ran some searches but was hoping for some updated advice considering it's new. Can't wait to post some pictures when it arrives!

Flood Ford has the best pricing from what I've seen. However, if you have a reliable and trusted dealership, you might be able to get it through them at the same price or possibly slightly less than Flood Ford. The first 36 months is covered bumper to bumper, and I am getting the extended warranty at about 34 months or prior to reaching 36000 miles. I plan on daily driving my Non R GT350 and will most definitely get the extended warranty. The only plus to getting the extended warranty early would be to take advantage of key FOB replacements, having rental car available for over night or extended service at the dealership, etc. Flood Ford provided all the info on their website. Just Google Ford ESP Flood Ford and look it all up. 2019 GT350 K1805 inbound to the dealership as we speak.....

In other words, it is still going to cost a lot.

Hint, if you are willing to keep your miles down, the extended warranty is reasonable. The more miles over more time equals more money. Imagine that.

I think downside of waiting is that price goes up by $100 after 12k/12mos....

The unknown downside is that Ford COULD alter pricing completely if claim trends get worse over time...

I'm holding off buying because I'm unsure what mileage coverage I need.

I already have an extended warranty on HR871. Max miles and years. However HR361 and JR357 do not have extended warranties. I don't plan on driving the crap out of them and a low miles maximum year extended warranty will not cost a lot of money (IIRC, about a grand for 8 years and 36K miles).

I received the best actual quote for my 350 with 7k miles from Lombardi ford esp. I’m going with a 7/60 or 7/75.

I realy appeciate all the feeback! The dealer lowered his warranty pricing to match Flood, so all is good.
