Motul 300 for the MT-82?

Anyone use standard Motul 300 100% Ester based 75w90 fluid for the MT-82 transmission?

Their website says to use the DCTF fluid, since it meets the specs for Ford, but the standard Motul 300 100% Synthetic fluid is what's used for every other standard transmission out there, including differentials. Why is that?

Motul Gear 300 75W90 (non-LS) made a difference when I changed out the OEM Torsen lube.
We were going to use Gear 300 75W90 in the MT-82 but decided on Multi-DCTF.

Give Gear 300 a go, I’m sure it’ll work great.

We went Multi- DCTF not because of a Ford rating but for the proven on and off track performance of a few 1200 HP Nissan GTR’s and the low temperature pour point for improved cold weather shifts.

Well, living in the PacNW, cold weather shifts are a concern as well. If that's the case, I'll probably stick with the DCTF.

As a guesstimate, how would you say the Motul compares to BG Synchroshift II?
