Gents,

I got it bad for a Gen 2 Raptor. The 19” work the new suspension is calling my name. I can get one at MSRP but the options I want are 71K. Really want to be in the mid-low 50k range.

I know more then a few of you have them. Talk me into it, talk me out of it, or sell me yours.

I've had this same bug for over 6 months now, so I'm not going to be the guy that talks you out of one! This damn truck is so all-around versatile that I've got to make one my daily beater. I'm just a couple of weeks away from taking delivery on a lead foot gray unit with every option except graphics and sun roof. Sun roof on a Texas truck should be illegal. I put really aggressive window tint on my sunroof and it rejects more heat than the sheet metal does. If only I could do the same on the windshield. Good god

I've loved my truck and havent had a single issue with it in 17k miles I've had both gens but prefer how the gen2 drives. Im actually going to sell mine and I'm sure I will regret it, but i tend to switch out trucks and SUVs every few years. Anyone want a tricked out 17 avalanche scab?

If learned that I worry too much about dings and stuff... I can usually park a nice daily away from the crowds or over really far on an end spot...SO a truck, especially a $70k truck, I would worry about it being so big that I couldn't get far away from anyone ;)

I like mine. Don’t find it exciting at all, but I’m not in an area with easy access to off road so it tows snowmobiles and kids and is cool as hell.

Raptors in red are the jam. I love the blue but man...red makes that bad boy pop.

I would have to agree that the red is a very nice color (so is the blue) for the Raptor. However, for me the color red is a no go color. #1 my old boss loved that color and he was a ^@#$*%! So that ruined the color for me. #2 since working for LE, I do know that bright colors are a factor to get noticed and get a ticket. So I mainly have bought all black vehicles. However, my Magnetic Grey has changed my mind because it always looks clean. So although I love the blue (and even then red) I bought my 2019 GT350 to match.

Id be the guy who bought a raptor and lowered it.

I've always wanted to build a lowered F150 utilizing the Raptor body parts to fit massive wheels and tires at all 4 corners. Vaugh Gittin built the closest thing I've seen so far.
