Made these blocks. Wheel chocks built into the top, 12" wide and have an additional riser that stacks below for extra height. It locks in the bottom like Legos. Work great, 100% safer. Won't trash your asphalt driveway either. 6" lift and the riser adds 7 1/2" extra.

I got the easier solution. I have a very cheap set of plastic drive up ramps- the angle is of course way too steep to drive up on. I simply jack the car up the front high enough to slide the ramps under wheels, then lower it. I even face them back wards towards the front of the car to give me more room behind the front wheels to get and maneuver under the car. If I need the back up in the air too, I jack the back up and just use adjustable jacks stands setting them at the height so the car is level. Easy and cheap- and I do this for all of my cars when I do oil changes or work underneath, installing exhausts, etc.

I plan on making something similar to these. Haven't decided though if I want to ave a set for the wheels, and a set for the jacking rails. Or if I want to build my own ramp up to these etc.

I have the 2-piece 67" HD ones (I have a truck I also use these for). For the Mustang, I've used them inside the garage, which because of the installed garage floor, when the rear wheels are outside the garage, they are at a lower enough level such that I don't have clearance issues with the PP2 lip spoiler going up the ramps inside the garage.

Today though was the first time I tried to use them on all-even ground and noticed that the PP2 spoiler will hit. If you look at the pic, it is flexed upwards just slightly.

I love having the 2-piece design, so will have to order the extenders if I want to use them outside my garage.
