In about two to three years , I can see Ford putting the DCT behind the VooDoo engine now that the GT350 will use the same block as the GT500. The DCT should bolt right up to the new GT350 block.
The issue with that is the high costs to tune the DCT for the Voodoo. DCT tuning chewed up a lot of time and money in the GT500 program. I can definitely see it as an option for the Gen 3 GT350 though.

It may have cost Ford a lot of time and money to tune the DCT for the GT500 , but that was a new adventure for the Ford engineers. The engineers now have the knowledge , experience , and data to make the process easier to tune a DCT for the GT350. I still think the GT350 may have an option to offer the DCT in two to three model years. Chevy is probably racing to put the Tremec DCT in the Camaro. Ford cannot afford to let the GT350 fall behind.

I like that the GT500 block and head improvements will carry over to the GT350. Makes boosting a GT350 safer (fatfab!)
