Numbers are good! Looking at the responses, looks like there’s a little room to play if you’re willing to play the game :fingerscrossed:

Enter PD torque clown #1...
As you can see from the top pic, the Stage 1 Edelbrock, on 93 octane and a 50 state tune is making more torque at 4K than this 15psi/e85 centri at peak
In fact, on a like for like basis (boost and fuel) there’s literally nowhere on the Edelbrock chart that dips below the peak of the centri.
Then again, I don’t think a Gen 2 Whipple makes enough torque on 93 either, so maybe I’m outside the norm?
Nothing wrong with 800whp though, I’d be pretty happy with that

Sweet numbers, what does it run at the track?

8.72 @158 apparently... is that fast enough?
So your running 8.7 with a manual whipple on a 3.6 pulley????.And.Airlift suspension.

I didn't say pd's make less or anything to get twisted about, just the argument that centri's don't make any torque down low. Well this setup makes great torque, and very flat. And then the beast top end hp climb. I'd be curious to see those graphs without the extreme smoothing factor they have on.

PD's make more torque, absolutely. Centri's don't make any respectable torque, wrong.

Any reason you went with the Edlebrock intake? Are you planning to add Nitrous to the mix after the new motor goes in?

I'd like to see a back to back comparison between 2018 intake and Edelbrock with a centri. OP, do the comparison!!! LOL

I saw the procharger power tour car used a Edelbrock intake I always assumed it was so they could spray it. Not sure they ever did.

That cars numbers always seemed off to me 4.3 pulley and a f1a94. Just got it to 1000. Maybe a D1 x wasn't out then but seemed like a better choice.

Thoughts on intake vs intake unless it's really really bad with the centri I doubt it make a huge difference with that design. Unless it's something like a 2015 intake that does strange stuff in higher RPM range

No plans on Nitrous with new motor....just a lot of boost. Try to max out the D1x and see where I am at at that point. Maybe twins or F1A after that.
Its been on for 3-4 years. When I first went boosted I really wanted to retain the strut tower brace and not cut the hood (limited options 3-4 years ago, boss, C-jet, Holley, Edelbrock) plus it looks good. I also had the rpm flat line at 6500 that some of the early centri guys experienced so wanted to try something different. I have just kept it on through the boosted years. From what I've seen and read its very similar to the Boss other than its Aluminum. I think there are bigger gains if ported.

That was me...rpm flat lined at 6500 ish. Tried some different things and never went away until I swapped out the intake manifold.

My apologies. I guess it all depends on what you define as “good” in terms of torque figures.
Clearly @whatsup62’s rig is going to be pretty damn quick on the strip (by my standards).
