That thread is full of pure garbage, mostly perpetuated by 2 idiots. The length of it means absolutely nothing
Not to derail this thread.....
But swapping to a more durable platform is wise.
Adding displacement would put Ford on a more level playing field.

Carol Shelby was know to swap for a larger engine......
Was he a idiot as well?

On that thread......I stated that the Predator would have 9.5:1 compression.
Guess what? I was 100% correct.

There have been 5 generations of Coyote blocks since model year '10.
Ford really should have designed a larger platform and sent the Mod Motor
out to pasture along with all it's siblings.

More displacement? Not needed, Some of the fastest cars in the world use 5 liters or less... And LS/LT cars do not run 8s stock unopened like the coyotes do... No real argument here, MOD motors are much more efficient and rev way higher.. Burry the large displacement deep down and forget it!

Well, I had a 5.8L Trinity that performed pretty well. And a 6.2L HC that scared off 5.0's. They went into submission right when they saw the side emblem...

After this, what are they going to do for the release of the weight? I'm thinking a puzzle that ends up being a pic of Rosie Odonnell with a X 16.75 next to it. :explode: :giggle:

I kid, I kid. The way they're stringing this out is driving everyone nuts. :headbang: Next puzzle piece in 50 minutes.

It wasn't the hellcats 6.2 of displacement that beats 5.0s. Its boost. I added boost to my 5.0. Hellcats avoid me at the strip now.

It's clear the first number is 7(seven)
Only if its a numeral. Maybe the HP is spelled out and that's the top of a Z. So maybe the puzzle will say ZERO. That's their guess on the Camaro forum.

It's starting to look as if you can get the same power from your coyote with a supercharger from the roush stage 3. So I'm expecting GREAT THINGS ABOUT THE CHASSIS AND HANDLING CAPABILITIES.

I said 9.5:1 as well. Since day one actually.

Once I learned it was a PI only engine, it wasn’t hard to estimate the CR.

I avoided nobody with that HC unless it was in a twisty. NA or not. But ya I see your point. How do 392's fare against the 5.0? I test drove an SRT 392 A8. Had a 3:09 rear. Was pretty fun.
