We took my brothers 18 A10 to the track for the first time on my 305/45 17 SS. It is bone stock and went 11.89@117. He then found a killer deal on some 19x10 wheels with 285/35 19 SS on them. Next time out 11.75@119. It has 3.55 gears and is still bone stock. We were running both @19psi. I’m not sure of his 60ft, but I know it was better on the shorter tire
Any suspension mods to combat wheel hop?

I have seen many cases at my tracks where guys with stock engines or even minor mods go slower with a 28 inch tire. There is a video around here somewhere from American Muscle where they did comparisons of stock, 93 tuned, E85 tuned, and DRs. They used a 28 inch DR and ran slower than on street tires when stock.
I saw that video as well, and yes they did run slower on the 28" tire. I'm pretty sure I'm going to go with the 275/40R17 MT ET Street R on a 17x9" rim

The car had no mods of any kind. Even though wheel hop was bad on the street with 20” Continentals, it had none at track on DR!
He has since purchased the Steeda stop hop kit, but we’ve not installed it yet. We’re gonna try a couple things to try to get to 11.50 with no tune

Nice! That is my goal as well.

They hold 9psi so far in second gear with a Paxton 2200. Crazy grip and good price.
Were you able to use the factory lug nuts with these wheels. Also, did you install a TPMS on them?

I’m running Mickey Thompson ET Street R 305/45R17 @ 22 psi. They hook extremely well. 3.55 gear

I've been doing a lot of research to decide if I should go with 275/40 or 305/45 MT ET Street Rs. Looks like all of the replies so far are from GT owners. I have an '18 EcoBoost. A10, 3.31 gears, FBO and big turbo.

My first choice is 275s on 17x9s. Then I started looking at sizes.

The stock tires are 27.3"

275/40/17 - 26.1"
305/45/17 - 27.8"

305s are the closest to the stock diameter. I'm thinking 275s to give the car a little more gear. The ET should benefit from that as long as it hooks. I want to make sure I get the tire size correct to get the most of out of the combination.

I'm familiar with the Ecoboost Mustang as it was my previous car before trading for a GT. Did the NX2 turbo push the torque curve further to the right or does it spool like stock? How much torque are you making down low and at what rpm? Now owning a set of the 275 ET Street R, on my stock A10 GT w/3.55 gears, I was dead hooking which was hurting my 60ft. even though it increased the effective gear ratio. On a very torque heavy bottom end, I would suspect this wouldn't be as much of an issue, but you also have 3.31 gears. I think the 275's should hook good for you and would likely be the better for getting down the track. You won't be able to fit the 305's on a 17x9 wheel. You will need to go up to at least a 9.5" width.

We're still working on my tune. From what I've felt at WOT and seen in the data logs, it's a little softer in the lower RPMs so that should help out of the hole. I think I'm going to go with the 275s. They should work well with my combination.

You should be able to build boost off the line by foot braking it which will allow you to leave much harder than the manual trans guys. The ET Street R's are a really sticky tire and the 275's should be all you need.

This is mainly because stock cars have the stock tire size in the pcm and will only compensate up to 3% size difference and the 28 tire is about 5% difference in most cases so it basically feels like in limp mode after it notices the tire size change. (Alleviated by changing the tire size with forscan) once tuned they do have to update tire size in mm inbetween both tire sizes so it sits within a 2% difference on both so it doesn’t pcm doesn’t reduce power and start learning the shift points all wrong creating the clunk and weird shifting issues many encounter when changing tire sizes out of that 3%

I ran 325s on a 10.5 inch wheel on the boosted 15 GT. They did extremely well. In the summer heat they would hook at 22psi. And I’d lower the psi to 16 in the fall when the temps would get down in the low 40s. I don’t see why a 275 tire wouldn’t do well on an NA car.
