I have the Whipple stage 1. the mustang dyno that i originally ran it on said it made 618 whp. From others, who had the stage 1 ran on a dyno jet I've seen around 630-640whp. I don't know much about mustang dynos, but based off the baseline run without the super charger I'd say it was off. When stock, it ran 430+ on that same mustang dyno. I was always told mustang dynos read less than dyno jets, so that confused me. Driving the car was a blast. It hauled ass, however I decided to get PBD's "stage 2" setup and their tuning along with the things I listed in my signature. My car is now at a new shop. The first pull, I was just informed minutes ago, without any revisions, made 687whp on a dyno jet. I'm hoping with revisions we can get a little closer to 700, if not hit that mark. Either way this is all on the stock 4" pulley, and pump 93 from Krogers, so I'm pretty stoked. Can't wait to see the final numbers and how it drives.

EDIT: TLDR whipple stage 1 tune was great, they don't tune for removed cats, PBD tune will get you more HP. i'll edit when I test drive-ability.

Not happy. I have a 19 with the stage 2 gen 5 complete kit. The Whipple tune knocked horribly randomly in pretty much all situations (part throttle around town, highway cruising, wot) and it seems to be common for other people on the 19 specific tune (different than 18 tune) and a couple people recently lost motors with the tune. I had to get a lund tune and no more knock.

There’s very few complaints with the 15-17 whipple setups in general.

On the Gen 2. Whipple tune is great!

Had Stage 2 Gen 2 and ran from 3.625 to 3.5 pulley and 93 to 100 octane no issues.

Smooth and stock like

Made 663 to the tire on 3.625 and 93.

However if your are looking for max performance, look elsewhere as the nannies and torque management will kill your ET

Moved to PBD and improved from 11.0@129 to 10.6@132 just by swapping tunes, but startup was never as smooth as that on the Whipple tune.

Whipple stage 1 here, all stock less the 750 HP kit. 110% satisfied. Dyno'd 643 RWHP and drives entirely stock until you put your foot into it. Tune feels great, AFR looks great, no surge/driveability/starting issues at all. Almost 2k miles on the setup so far.

19 whipple stage 2. The first tune whipple made for the 19s works on my car. The new revisions they have for the 19s throw misfire codes on my car. Just ordered a new fuel system going to go e85 and custom tune don't want to gamble with the whipple tune and 93 octane any longer.
