I like to disassemble things.
I don't think the seats will be much of a problem. I have a 2017 Lincoln MKZ with nearly 40K miles on it. Seats still look good. Only a small amount of transfer on the piping, and it has much more white than the 500. Don't wear your dark blue embroidered mom jeans and you'll be ok.
Not to dis on your Lincoln but that is much more subtle and well, it's on a Lincoln for God sakes. Much different demographic. Lincoln owners aren't typically crawling out from underneath the car with the car on the stands at the track and then jumping back in for the next 25 minute track session. Nor are they busy installing headers, wheels, etc. I hope this decision didn't come from Melvin as I thought he did a wonderful job on the exterior of the car.

IMO blue (and, or) red inserts should be offered. Jim Owens did specifically say blue was being considered. Obviously blue or red will not work well with green and orange exteriors. So it will be interesting to see how they package these options if they are offered.

Speaking aesthetically, I like white accents. White matches all exterior colors and I prefer to have something to break up the sea of plain black leather, plastic etc. But yes I agree it's NOT practical.

I am fine with accents but agree color choices for accents would be great, but seems it would be too much trouble for FORD. Actually i wish they would offer an all Red or mostly RED leather interior but i know i am in the minority so that will never happen.

I get where you are coming from. I just wanted to show that with a little care and common sense the white parts of the seat aren't that bad. When I change the oil in it I don't climb directly out from under it and then jump in the seats. Again, common sense. Dirty is dirty, I've seen stained up black seats. I would buy $20 paint coveralls for track use. I also bet most Lincoln owners and GT500 owners are the same, old and wealthy.

Iconicgt500 Instagram is reporting order banks open tomorrow.
Somebody at SVTP hinted that "Friday will be a good day" and I don't think he was referring to the weather. Fingers crossed.

Hmm. According to that window sticker, we won’t have any numbers because of the EPA still.

The GT350 had the same seats in the debut car and they did not make it to production.
