I am going to try to get a carbon fiber track pack car and put base GT500 wheels on it for the street.

If I could spec the car out just how I wanted it would be as follows,
Carbon fiber track pack car in Performance blue with white or gray stripes, with base wheels and a back seat.

I just picked up a 17gt 350 here in ctrl FL and was talking about the gt 500 with the finance guy. He said they have one allotment and it's already sold for 30k over msrp. I asked when he expected to get it in and he said December....

Would make sense, since Ford stated they would open in June. That’s the last weekday of June. I’m hopeful that the order guide will be out tomorrow per my dealers rep stating Thursday “may” be a good day.

Thanks for posting the attached information.

It will be interesting to see how many of the ~3100 dealerships in the U.S. decide to belly up $1000 for each of the GT350/GT500 programs?

Of course in Canada the only way that a Ford dealership is able to receive an allocation for a GT350/GT500 is to be an SVT dealership of which there are ~35 SVT dealerships in the Great White North.

Like many of you I remember the launch of the 2015/2016 GT350/R's back in the summer of 2015 and it was something else and would suggest that the launch of the upcoming GT500 this coming Fall may take all the craziness from the summer of 2015 to another level.

Regarding your comment of How many dealers will pony up the $1,000 to join the club. I can answer that without any hesitation. ALL OF THEM. I have spoken to over 40 Ford Dealers and they are getting calls from other Ford Dealers wanting to buy their allocation. There will be no stones left unturned regarding this car.

Did you see the info in there about the GT500 carbon fiber track pack being limited to 25% of all GT500s

The painted on stripes are 25% too. So a performance pack with stripes will be the one to have.
