Dealer drilled two holes in the car before delivery, said it was required by the state dealer association to be done to every car after arrival from port. Question is, were there dimples that they drilled in order to ensure it was centered, because eyeballing it they look centered, but wondering if there were dimples before they did, anyone know?

I'm thinking of replacing the entire front bumper of this car, as its a Bullitt and I intend to hold it. Annoys the hell out of me, but may also put in bumper plugs but want to ensure they're centered.

My 2018 ecoboost has dimples that are centered. Luckily my dealer did not drill them out.

Ok so I at least know that these are centered. Ridiculous that they drilled them however. Especially on a potentially collectible car.

Yeah, I know a lot of guys that have had them pre-drilled, but my dealer had a mustang and he didn't like the holes there so he did me a solid and didn't drill them out!

These guys claim it's required in New Hampshire. I'm skeptical.

I told my dealer right after agreement to terms that if I show up 70 miles away to close and they are drilled, I walk. Lol. They got the point.

Yeah I don't plan to do that, I have a holder that's going to go in the undercarriage. I guess the question is do I use the plugs or replace the bumper? How insane do I get here. That's the question.

IMO, if youre gonna use the holder and have the font plate flipped up it will cover the holes anyways so you might as well plug it.

getting a brand new bumper for just those two holes is a waste honestly.

but i totally understand where you're coming from. those two drilled holes would bug the shit out of me lol.

Mustang GT a collectible car?
Bullitt Mustang, in black. Limited number in a limited number that has only seen three runs. I am not saying it is going to be priceless, but it is collect-*able*.

Check BumperPlugs.com
The Porsche owners have used these color-matched plugs for years.

I Would say on the original Bullitt Mustang series you might be right, but on the S550 series, I don't care if it's painted pink,it's just another car. Don't worry about those little holes.

Yes, bumper plugs because you don't like looking at the holes, impact on value not significant.
