Even though the metric system makes way more sense than the imperial system and is based on units that scale correctly from one to the other.....

but that's for another thread heh

Yeah, when I travel outside the US my biggest difficulty is trying to convey elevations and temperatures. I learned the SI units for my ME degree but always had to convert either way, kind of pain.

Good thread I was wondering about this too. Mines stays about 200 in traffic, gets a little higher under WOT of course.

I think most cars around 200 is normal, anything above 230-240+ you start cooking clutches

I still was curious for this car, because my Ram never goes over 180 unless I'm pulling something.

"Normal ATF Operating Temp: 206 °F - 215 °F"

That is from Ford directly.

Fyi.
10r80 supposed to have a thermostat that open around 180-200f.
That's why i had to swap my trans around 10k with roadcourse use.
240f started to have big hesitation that evenutally got worse withwith lower temp too (225)
Installing now a biiger cooler however need to figure out how to bypass the thermostat

Mine starts to act a little funny above 200 in stop and go.
