I'm in a trouble to solve the driveline vibration and I'm considering to pass to a 1 piece driveshaft.

Does anyone solved the vibration problem with this kind of move?

What driveshaft is the best to address the balancing and vibration problems? Carbon or alu?

Thanks!

I'd say it's very hit or miss. I had zero issues with vib until I got a 1 piece.
I've had dealt with a company several times to get it fixed and finally have 90% of the vibs gone. After speaking to a few companies it seems the cars themselves have an issue and not so much is it always a bad driveshaft. Apparently the fixed pinion angle is really harsh for
Vib.
Basically good luck.

Two piece driveshafts will always be the smoothest.

What did you did to reduce by 90% the vibrations?
Sent it back over and over. Removed the ds loop which may have been some issue as well. I got a new design from the company and clocked it. This last time is close enough but you still know it's there.

How bad is the vib? Have you tried securing a band clamp to the drive shaft to see if it will help? Turn the band clamp at 45 degrees at a time to see if it helps. Always worth a try.

Isn't the car under warranty still? Why not have them replace the ds if it's bad.

Yes still in warranty but i'm in EU with an american car. Tomorrow I'll try to clock the diff and the clamp. I have a commercial warranty in germany but i'm 1k miles far and only to bring the car costs some thousands euro.

It is more easy try to fix the ABC in the shop below my house (i think)

Before align with steeda kit was moderate, only annoying. After: terrible. Over 80mph the feeling is similar to very squared brake discs. I would say the car is not usable and probably not safe at all.

Whatbsteeda parts do you have? Do you have and trans mount bushings or dif bushing installed?

Installed, only the 39$ subframe alignment kit. I have the subframe support braces, subframe bushings and diff bushings but not installed.

The vibration started before i could install and then I decided to solve before this problem.

I read strange things here. My cardan specialist told me: A one-piece shaft will always be better than a two-piece shaft! You write the opposite here?!?

Do a search on my username, you’ll find a ton of info and several good threads. Not an easy problem to solve.
