The combination of dealer greed and people willing to pay for the ADM's has created this problem. If people stopped paying the ADM's dealers could not get greedy. Just my two cents.

Though, for the money, the stereo sucks.
Funny enough, this was one of the first "main" reasons I decided to wait for the 19.. the new stereo is good enough for me, and im probably a bit above average picky.

Do you have your 2019 yet?? If so are you happy with the sound?? Oh I know you are happy with the sound of the engine and exhaust. I was asking about the B&O sound system. I am asking because my 2019 should be here this week.

Assume you were asking me this.. yes I have my 2019 and yes im happy with the B&O system. I havent heard any recent Ford stereos, but I've had the premium stereo in the last few German vehicles I've had and this is right up there. I have installed stereos in other cars, but I'm not a huge audiophile.. I have a simple test.. I pop on sone high quality tracks and turn it up.. it either passes or fails.. this passes.. so I'm happy. It does have a few settings to play with, but yea the engine is the real bonus, but I do enjoy to cranknthe stereo now and again!

I got a sub-MSRP deal on my '19 GT350 because the dealership erred by posting their initial web advertisement using the invoice price instead of MSRP. When I called, they realized their mistake and apologized, but said they really couldn't let it go for that price. They didn't want to be accused of bait-and-switch and made me an offer that was $1300 over invoice which included a $400 "Doc-Prep" charge. Since I had been expecting to pay MSRP when I eventually found the car I wanted, I went for it. After interacting with them through the 2-month wait for the car and then the final transaction, I feel their error was an honest one rather than a marketing ploy and thought they were more than fair with me under the circumstances. They treated me well even though we both knew they could have made more money on the deal.

The deals I found are all gone. You have to remember a cars worth is about perception and speculation. Looking back I truly lucked out. The GT350s were back logged in delivery due to a shortage of parts. The GT500 was just announced and Ford announced low earnings. So when the first GT350s were arriving they were all shipping at once. The dealers didn’t know their value. I was able to cite actual dealer cost and talk about the flooded market with the new GT500 arriving. Again I truly got lucky. Funny thing I almost past on the deal because I started believing my own hype.

I did a cash deal in January, 2019 at +$500 over invoice (no deposit) .I still have no car or any date at this time. I understand that stuff happens.

I do not need to write a check for $60K+ until my dealer has the exact car that I ordered. I'll wait it out.

I ordered mine on 04-29-19 and was only able to get $1500.00 over MSRP.
It may arrive in July.
The exact same car with options I did not want showed up at the same dealer, Performance Blue with white stripes.
They have a $15,000.00 dealer mark-up. My salesman quietly told me the manager said it's negotiable (no kidding).
I imagine the ADM will drop quickly once the GT500's start hitting the showrooms.
Here is the car similar to the one I ordered at the same dealer:

The performance blue really changes color with the light.
Here is the car in the showroon and the window sticker.

They labeled the ADM as "Accessories"

My first choice was Race Red (school colors). I did Magnetic Gray which is a darker shade. Is Metallic Gray the lighter shade?

Nonetheless, the color is not why I ordered a GT350: It's the engine and drive train.

That's so crazy.. same car as mine.. hard to believe someone driving same car could possibly be paying upwards of 20k more than I did for the same thing.

I would never criticize anyone here for the price paid. They may have wanted the car.

I was a financial planner. I've seen hundreds of thousands of net worth disappear from a clients's net worth due to a divorce. It is never a good idea to give your home and half your stuff to your ex-wife.

It makes the price of of GT350 seem like an awesome deal.
