For 2020...

Besides the talked-about engine block from the GT500...

Are there any other changes for 2020 we can discuss?

Will it have at least an option for the Digital Instrument Cluster, for example?

I'm honestly planning to buy a spare guage for my BULLITT. LCD's dont usually look very good after 5-7 years. When you get to 10 they are VERY bad looking. I can't imagine how they will look on these cars in about 25+. I imagine many will be swapping to the non-LCD guages to either save money or the Digital may just be hard to find or very pricy when they finally die.

Grant it car guages are on a lot less than TV's, phones or computers so hopefully they will end up lasting longer due to that.

Folks any updates or thoughts on this?

Order banks for 2020 GT350 allocations either opened up already or will be opening any day now... I imagine the answer on the digital instrument cluster is already out there...

No digital cluster on GT350. GT500 has it, but I'm sure if you have to option it or if it's standard. Same with base GT.
You’re saying this with specific knowledge about the upcoming 2020 car?
Look at the red airbrushed section.

Thank you for that.

Considering the GT350 will have a different engine block (not indicated there), and considering the other typical omissions Ford is known to make, I am still holding out hope.

The order guide will tell us for sure, and supposedly it will be released any day now.

Why not just swap a digital cluster in?

Don't get your hopes up.. unfortunately, there's NO chance in hell of the digital cluster happening as much as I want it lol. Your best bet is to wait and see if hellhorse can reverse engineer the one in the 500 to work with the 350

I am not understanding how you’re so sure. Isn’t it possible Ford needed time to develop one to suit the GT350, and they decided to develop it while they were developing one to suit the GT500?

Because it wouldn’t work. Different engine, different software altogether.
Are you certain? Almost all new Ford's share a ton of settings in FORScan. I'm almost positive you can reprogram one to a GT350. The F150 and Mustang cluster share like 95% of the same settings. I can't imagine another Ford platform having more in common than a specialized model of the same model.

not that I'm a fan of StangMode, but he asks about the digital dash and Ford says no (in regards to the 19's having it)

You’re kind of hijacking the thread.

1) I don’t want to reprogram a digital instrument cluster - I want a factory piece.
2) The GT350 engine redline, software, and entire platform are different. It’s kind of simplistic to assume it’s easily changed via software tuning. And if it is, it’s not something I would trust.

You absolutely can change redline in the software along with most everything else. Half of Ford's products share parts with new programming.

People have swapped the GT350 cluster into a standard GT, so I don't see why it would be that difficult.

But, have it your way. Just trying to help.
