Whipple gen 5 or Roush 2650...2019 GT

Hello! I just purchased a new 19 gt Premium PP,

Looking to supercharge it as soon as I break 1k miles, but looking for insight on which blower to go with. My tuner likes roush, I hear a lot about the whipple, my last car was paxton so I'm not preferred on either. I saw a video showing the TVS had to have the block cut on, where I dont think the whipple does...? Just looking for opinions.

I love the shit out of my 2300 Roush/FRPP supercharger. Quality, RELIABLE, no issues, hauls ass (for me) and I'm sure the same can be said about the new Roush 2650's. Guys on this forum seem to like their 2650's, some aren't crazy about the Roush tune, but hear the updates have made it better. The Whipple is top notch as well, no denying that. Quality components, bigger H/E, and if you want to eventually make BIG power, I personally think the Whipple has more room to grow.

Can't go wrong with either one. Both will produce more power than a factory motor can reliably hold.
Edlebrock has an awesome factory looking 2650.

depends on goals, if warranty is important, the roush has a very nice 3yr 36k mile warranty at no charge which is great

sounds like you plan on a custom tune out of the gate, which would void said warranty though.

if thats the case, both companies make a quality product, the whipple i think is def going to have more overall potential, meaning growing later. so it comes down to your wants / needs / goals, driving style

Im enjoying my Roush and with the latest tune its alot better. But, having said that if you want to get even bigger down the track then whipple would be the way to go.
