Do the 19’s get the updated block ?

I know for sure they also changed the design of the pistons /rings.Not sure exactly what they changed but they are different .

The rings for the previous piston design are no longer available from Mahle .

Well if get the R splitter and R spoiler along with the CF wheels you have for sale......welll.....I have a sub 55K R. LOL

As for the VIN....I have a dremel. :) :)

When are we going to burn up some country roads?
Im not selling my CF wheels. I may part the car out and keep the wheels, but they will be mine.

I would guess the 19's have the update blocks. I mean all of the other revisions are on the 19's. I too heard that the 19's had 50hp added, but then again it was not from a Ford source.

One of the reviews I saw showed the 0 to 60 time dropped to four seconds. I believe that’s 1 to 2/10 less and that was mainly attributed to the stickier tires. 50 more horsepower would’ve made the drop below four seconds.

I thought it was resolved that the "R" designation (when it comes to replacement motors) is exactly that.... a replacement motor.
I thought so at first, but I had asked people with "GT350R" card to take pictures of their Engine build labels and they are the same as the Replacement motors
that some have received.

So no, the R on the label does not mean replacement..

look here for the info https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/gt350-r-engine-build-date-codes.117482/

Just curious, were any of the engines that failed, running Amsoil? I've heard of one so far, but I only asked the question for the first time yesterday.

No Voodoo engines have worn out due to high miles yet, so why do you think the oil used would be a variable? What failure mode are you assuming that a different brand of oil might have an effect on?

There are some out there who claim that the Motorcraft oil may be prone to problems. I don't know it all nor do I believe Ford would allow it, but what I read was that the oil may not hold up under extreme conditions, which could cause the same fallout as oil starvation. Also, they said that the MC oil is likely to evaporate. Now, I find that really had to believe, but I did want to ask if anyone using Amsoil has ever experienced a problem.

Are those the only two oils that meet Ford's requirements?

So what I’ve seen going on with the oil is that Motorcraft tends to shear dow to a 40 weight in very little time. There’s been a few guys post their lab results to back this up. Is this a factor?? Meh! I gotta go with no. I would want to assume with Motorcraft being the standard, they accounted for this when designing the engine. The only thing further I will add is that between mine and anyone else running Amsoil, the cSt does seem to be holding up mucho better than MC. Tske it for what it’s worth. That and $5 will get you a cup of coffee at McDonalds.
