What do you all guys think of the ATS-V?

I don't think it would even be close. The Caddy would put buses on the Ecoboost.

ATS-V has 464 hp and around 3800 pounds of weight.
Boost has 350-375(guessing) tuned and around 3500 pounds of weight.

The boost needs a turbo upgrade to even have a chance.

Would it be worthwhile to look at owning one?

Last year for the ATS V. Next year it becomes the CT4 V and power drops to 320. LOL. Caddy is slowly committing suicide. Buy the real V while you can.

Caddy from what I understand had a good CEO in what was that guys name Im too lazy to google Johann de Nyschenn or something who moved the HQ to manhattan and oversaw the development of these awesome vehicles.

They push him aside move that shit back to detroit, fuck up their V series halo cars - In order to what? Lose sales to BMW, Mercedes and Lexus as well as Lincoln?

It is messed up. But the apparent intent is to make V-Series the “entry level” performance trim and Blackwing (4.2TT 550 - 600 hp, I forget how much torque) the top performance level. Very poorly communicated.

Yes, owning one would be worthwhile! The ATS-V will be my next car as a friend of mine has a 2016 and it's a VERY fun car to drive. His has an intake, BOV's, Borla CBE, and was tuned by Jeremy @ Fasterproms...it made 570whp on the dyno with 93. We both got stuck first at the same light coming home from the drive shack last week and had a go with my 18 gt A10(I ran a 11.9@118 at the track for reference)...he put a bus on me real quick! Ouch

...my car still sounds better though...

Yeah, and with room to go also. Jeremy said he could see another 20-30 whp from deleting the cats, but it's really already fast enough and who wants to deal with that smell as a DD. The alcantara steering wheel is a little much but the interior is tits for sure...and it handles like it's on rails...and the 8 speed auto is one of the best I've ever used...and the traction control is super intuitive...the list just goes on and on.

Look for an ex v performance car if you can as that's what he did, it was $44k otd w/ 1700 miles back in 2017 when he got it. No drivetrain warranty but he was going to void it anyway, it did have the Q system replaced in it a few months ago with no issues. Cadillac also has a great service experience.

How can I find an ex v-performance car?

Unfortunately just got word from a dealer on a new one - they won't be able to make it worthwhile for me. I will continue my search for a used one but to be able to really switch I need to be around 35k purchase which doesn't really reflect the market on these right now.
