Are you guys using any injector cleaner in you 5.2s? I have used it in previous cars, long time ago I had an injector sticking and a can of cleaner cleared it up. Started putting a can in once or twice a year after that.

I do the SeaFoam treatment on our rides about once a year. I did several injector cleanings on my Speed 3 before I read the warning about not doing that to the turbo, since it's right on the manifold. It survived.

If you want to do it once a year, I'd think it's fine.

But really, it's not going to do anything, and some of that stuff is harsh on certain seals and such.

A good brand of gasoline has cleaners and detergents to keep injectors clean. I would be surprised if one 8 oz bottle of cleaner (diluted with 10 gallons of gasoline) would have much effect after running hundreds of gallons of gasoline through the injectors anyway.

I'm a big fan of BG44K. Back in my dealership days cars would come in running rough as can be. We had a special apparatus that was an air pressurized can and would mix 44k with gas, unplug fuel pump and hook this direct to the rails. Start the car and run it until it died when the can was empty. 9/10 it would fix misfires from clogged dirty injectors.

I regularly once a year dump a can in all my vehicles.

Techron additive is good. Not a miracle worker but I've had it fix a rough idle in other cars I've owned.

Chevron fuel has Techron already in it.........
Yep, but it is concentrated so it could help clean the system. Otherwise it would be useless for them to sell their own additive off the shelf.
