I have 20% on side of my F150 and night driving, especially in the rain is tough.

I just had Autobahn Ceramic Black 30% (SC legal) on sides and back, Air 80 on the windshield. Not looking for ultra dark as the old eyes need to see at night. The ceramic takes care of the heat.

I had 5% all around on my old car. It looked awesome and driving during the day was fine but I just couldn't do night without rolling the windows down. I live in an area that doesn't have a lot of street lights or night lighting, however. After a couple of near misses (mostly when backing up), because I couldn't see anything, beyond the front window, I yanked it all off.

The practicality of tint that dark just didn't outweigh the visual appeal, imo

Ive scraped off tint so I never again went darker than the legal limits in my AO. I did have legal stuff, 35% on my Mustang but tint + black car + black interior made it look darker than 35 and I was stopped for it and measured came back @ 31 which the cop did give me some grief about it.

Carbon 35% all around. Came out darker than expected, most likely due to the black interiors (my other car has beige interiors and a sunroof, so 35 looks waaaaaay lighter on the other car), but not disappointed, I love the look.

35% ceramic. While darker might look good, I seriously suggest you use a quality tint over anything. Ceramic based ones make a nice difference in heat rejection and they tend to hold up better over time as well.

35%. Used to always do 15%, but as I have gotten older it isn't worth the hassle of night time driving.

5% affects night driving alot to the point its uncomfortable IMO. I run 20% on my sides and that affects it some but is still tolerable.

5% on the rear which is perfect for dimming peoples headlights. Without a backup camera though it is horrible.
