So I've owned my 17 GT PP for about 2 years now and its a great car, the best mustang I've ever owned. Lately I have been thinking of trading it in on a new GT350 or a c7 Z06.

We use it as a weekend car only and the occasional track day, I put about 11,000 km in it since new (about 6,800 miles)
I have test driven a 2018 GT350 and even thou it is a great car I just don't see a big enough difference between my car and a GT350, I mean there is a difference but not a $35,000 difference in my opinion.
To be honest the only reason I am considering the trade on the GT 350 is the prestige of owning a Shelby GT350, specially because they are kind of rare where I live and mustang GT's are everywhere.
I am also considering a 2019 C7 Z06, I have always liked the z06 and actually considering buying a used 2011 Z06 when I bought my 17, price was about the same but in the end I ended up buying the GT because of the rear seat.
The rear seat is no longer a concern because my daughter is now a teenager and unfortunately does not want to go with me and my wife for cruises anymore so a 2 seater is enough.

Any opinions on what I should do? I know in the end it is my money and decision but I would appreciate some feedback either way, perhaps someone here is considering the same.

Here are some pics of my GT. Sorry about the pic size, I don't know how to make them smaller.

your car is freaking beautiful.

I LOVE the GT350, perfect car imo, but I guess a c7 z06 would be a good option for you since you didn´t find the GT350 that different, the z06 is a beast. GL anyhow

Beautiful car man!
On a side note, what wheel spacers do you have?

Put a Whipple, a fuel system, and E85 on the '17 PP and rule the world for far less cash. I might be in a minority here, but I don't care much for the Vette.
For me it's not about going fast, the car is fast enough. It is more about having something unique, that's why I modded my car so it doesn't look like every other mustang in my area.
That is also the reason I would only consider a Z06 instead of a regular vette.

Sounds like you want the Vette. You only live once.

I'd lost a bet there. It must he the angles of the photos because they look set out to me.
Yeah its the angle, they sit flush with the fenders.
Its the offset of the wheels,

Wheel Specs

Front:

Size: 19x10
Backspace: 6.29"
Offset: +20mm
Weight: 25.5lbs

Rear:
Size: 19x11
Backspace: 8.36"
Offset: +60mm
Weight: 24.2lbs

Wonderful color combined with great selection of aesthetic and performance modifications.
I would definitely keep it!

I’m in the GTA Toronto and there is a 45k difference between the GT350 and the Z06. There is one GT350 in a lot at Kennedy and Hwy7 if near and it’s 81k. I have the sticker photo on my phone (don't ask why) but I’m sure it’s still there. Plenty of Z06s just north of that place.

The GT350 will have the same tail lights and headlights as it’s a 2018 so not much of a change outside. Someone will probably peel off the Shelby plaque if you park it somewhere questionable. But the Z06 will suffer from C8 depreciation. I’d go Z06 but only after the C8 debuts and dealers are itching to unload the C7s.

Beautiful car. Now that’ve you driven the 350 did it shift better with the Tremec? Better as in would it be worth putting that tranny in it to have a little more 350 in your GT. I think it would give it more uniqueness and if it gives it a different feel and feeds the crave monster at the same time would be a win win. Still practically a new car. I wouldn’t get rid of it.
