From what it looks like with the bore scope ring land. But the motor is going to L&M Wednesday as soon as they tell me what's up. I'll post it on this thread.

Yeah man. Really wasnt looking to spend that kind of money right now. But I'll get through it. On the up side the car will be a monster now as I already have fore triple pump and transmission clutchs done. With all the other driveline shit including 3.15 gear. I think in the fall I'm gonna go for 8's

Update I sold the ID1050 and bought 1300 today. I also dropped the motor off at L&M. Should have it back next Wednesday.

12-1 sleeved block, Manley I beam rods, L&M forged pistons, basically they said motor will handle 1200whp no problem. The last piece is a 10 rib. Then the car will be done as long as nothing breaks.

They have probably already trashed the pistons(they said wrong /too small rings were used by MMR in the original build)-

I am out of funds now (had 2 long blocks built in the last 2 months ) and still have rebuild the Voodoo motor .
It will have to wait a while but I am definitely going to have them rebuild it as a capable “spare “ for the 18 .
They said they could make custom pistons for the DI but something about different location of the knock sensors compared to the 18 block so they may need to be relocated.

Can you ask if you can take pics and compare ?

Do you know if supercharge cars are having the same prom as Turbo cars with making the valves go flat. I didn't up for stronger veils but I could now as long as I call them today

I have not had issues with valve float in my KB car with stock GT springs up to 20 psi .

Whipple had also told me stock GT350 springs would be fine with my Voodoo rebuild /2.9 blower .


I did do valve springs in the two 5.2/GT350 long blocks I had built earlier this year . MMR springs in the one now in the Hellion car . PAC springs in the other motor even if it is still “undecided “ as I figured I might as well just in case it ever “chooses” a turbo . Lol

The 5. 0 long block I had assembled with GT heads has trick flow springs.

Obviously it’s much easier to do now than later .

It might give the motor a broader market if you even wanted to sell it (or the car since buyer may want to switch FI)

13,300. That's for disassembling and reassembling. ARP everything, sleved, I beam rods, foged pistons, good for 1200/1300whp
