I went from the Whipple cal which uses the IMRC connector in the back which is programmed in the Whipple cal to turn on pump when engine is running. Now with PBD cal that same connection turns pump on and off with key on. Is there a power source under the hood that can be tapped into to turn pump on/off when engine is running or off?

What are you trying to achieve? Pump running with accessories off?
Not sure that I understand.

I want the pump to run only when engine is running.

Sorry mate, I can’t think of a suitable trigger.
I imagine you’re doing this to prevent battery drain?

Right, and I run a EMP pump to make matters worse. Things like flashing a calibration where there isn’t supposed to be any other current draw.

I just unbolt mine from the fuse box when I want to flash, I thought about putting a breaker on it.

Unbolt?
Just pull the fuse for the relay you mean?

Well maybe mine is a different pump than yours since I don't have a whipple but it just has a terminal lug then has a fuse a few inches away, I just zip off the 10mm nut from the fuse box stud and take it off so it isn't running all the time with accessory power on. Its easier than trying to get the sealed fuse holder open.

Must be another power source that's on when engine is running to trigger the relay. Ideas???

1. Alternator??
2. Cooling fans??
